Why do we love Pepe so much?

Pepe has existed in pop culture for many years. You may have read that he has been considered a symbol of racism because of a certain type of content. However, many people, including myself, simply consider him a very interesting symbol of our emotions, resolutions and feelings.

For me – Pepe, and in particular his version – Apustaja, is a return to childhood. Where the still uncontrollable of his emotions, centered around what surrounds him, the cute frog – simply accepts this world as it is. As humans, we experience similar problems, have similar doubts. Pepe is a universal symbol with whom everyone can identify. It makes it a little easier for us to come to terms with our lives.

I love Pepe the frog. I also love the community that creates him.

Why was this store created?

First of all, out of our sincere love for the character Pepe the frog and what significance he has in pop culture! 

Pepe, along with other variations like Apu or Peepo – is something that makes me feel better every day.

Ignoring now how great the community is here, and focusing only on the visual aspects – Pepe is just adorable! I like the look of it, and my house is decorated in various places with gifts from my friends. Here some sample photos:

This store was created because I myself love to have merch with Pepe the frog. It was really hard for me to find such things. That’s why I stated that we would create them ourselves!

Pepe the frog merch mainly focuses on pasting poor quality graphics, without any signature or visual value. I wanted to provide something that wouldn’t just hang in my closet as a keepsake.

Now, not only is my home more and more Pepe-zone, but on top of that I can look forward to spreading the same joy throughout Europe!

I can’t wait to meet someone in real life wearing my T-shirt someday. I will definitely want a picture with you!

And who am I?

My name is Weronika and I come from Poland. I create mainly for fun. 

Privately – I work in a company where I do meme marketing. So you could say that I am soaked in memes with my whole self! I love memes. I even wrote my bachelor’s degree on the subject. Pepe the frog is also very close to me – mainly because of his great, memorable look and how big a community (that I belong to and can identify with) he has on the Internet. I’ve been watching the tags every day, finding more and more creative versions of Pepe’s. Each picture automatically makes me feel better. Especially when different variations of Pepe (e.g., Apustaja) are placed on a real photo [below example].
